FAQ
Questions people ask before they order.
Documents and acceptance
Will USCIS accept your translation?
USCIS requires a complete English translation and a certificate from the translator stating they are competent and the translation is accurate. Every translation we deliver includes that certificate. The decision to accept is always the agency’s.
Do I need notarization?
The general USCIS translation rule does not require it. Some courts, schools or foreign authorities ask for it. Check with your recipient. If they need it, email us before ordering.
Which languages do you translate?
From Portuguese and Spanish into English.
Can I send a phone photo?
Yes. Flat surface, good light, all four corners in view, one photo per page.
Price and payment
How is the price calculated?
$19.95 per page of up to 250 words, counted in your document. You see each count before you pay.
What is a temporary hold?
When a person needs to check a document, we place a temporary hold on your card instead of charging it. It ends when your card network releases it, usually within 7 days. When the card network reports the exact date, your order page shows it. If we haven’t confirmed by then, nothing is charged.
Can the price go up after I pay?
Never without asking. If a person counts more pages, we show you the difference and you decide.
Deadlines
How fast is it?
Add your deadline to the quote. Nothing is charged until a person confirms we can make it, and your order page then shows the date and time we committed to, in Eastern Time. If we miss a date we confirmed, you can cancel the late documents for a full refund.
Privacy and files
Who sees my documents?
Our software, the AI services it uses to read and draft, and the translator who reviews and signs.
Problems
What if it’s rejected?
If it’s rejected because of our translation or certificate format, we fix it for free.
Can I cancel?
Yes, at no charge until a translator starts reviewing your document. Your order page shows the button while it’s possible.
